DESKTOP INVESTIGATIONS

At it’s most basic, a desktop investigation will cover the interviewing of any potential witnesses over the telephone or if possible via face time.

Using cognitive interviewing techniques, the investigator will interview the witness, building a rapport with the witness whilst extracting the relevant information from them. This will ensure that the witness feels comfortable when being interviewed whilst we are able to expose any inconsistencies or deception that may be present and ensure a quality, CPR compliant statement is produced.

Whilst interviewing we will focus on the events, leading up, at the time and after the incident as well as any other relevant information which may have influenced the incident itself.
